I have always loved the end of summer — the last ripened tomatoes are my favorite.
People still ask me ‘Whats your favourite thing to eat or cook?’ I can go on and on, but there is nothing like well-executed tomatoes from your garden, crushed and served with basil and some really good spaghetti.
But the colder weather also is making me excited to braise meats and make my world-class Bolognese. The fall mushrooms, truffle season, roasted fall vegetables … the list goes on and on.
I always say cook in season. Not only is it cost-effective, it just makes damm good sense! So I have posted some great fall dishes for you, and I hope you love them as much as me!
